Guest emsallem
Hi everybody ! I would like to know if there is a way to display current tasks on the homescreen because the "Tasks" app is difficult to use. Thanks !

Guest emsallem
Don't you think that even on the SPV, the dates are stored in the tasks but it can't display them ?
Guest madu
Course I do, furthermore - that's what it does!! And if you noticed, hitting Action button ticks/unticks a task just as a Softkey does! Well I have a sneaky suspicion that this is all due to a rushed release of the phone.. You cannot edit a task and you can only see the first X number of symbols, so if you were unlucky to name it 'Birthday call to Mike on 07890xxxxx' you will only see ''Birthday call to Mi..' - hmmmm... Now I think that either the softkey or actionbutton are supposed to enter an edit menu. For naw they are both assigned to same function, since the other one is not yet availible... Or they just forgot to sort it out the last minute, but the function is actually there and can be used, just not accessed. PS: When a task created on PC and date and time put in it brings up a reminder when its due...
Guest emsallem
So, it must be possible to display active tasks on the homescreen thanks to a plugin, no ?
Guest madu
well, until they get their act together i'd suggest you use calendar... same thing (more or less) and can be edited on the phone
Guest emsallem
Thank you for your advise but I have been using Outlook's tasks for years so I would be pleased to see them on my phone's homescreen like I did with my iPAQ ...
