hi

hope you can help me. after some problems with homescreens i hard reset my phone (spv c550) and everything was working fine. then it decided it wasnt going to let me into the date and time menu and keeps coming up saying "error - the settings could not be opened"

i dont want to reset my phone again as it took ages to re-install all my software, tones and set the phone up etc. any ideas? im desperate!

Hi,

Try changing the time format from point to slash format. You see it under Settings > Regional Settings

I have this same issue, it's blocking me from going into nearly all of my settings, including Regional Settings. If I try and perform a windows update I'm informed there's a problem "check connection settings and ensure device date and time are correct".

Anyway of fixing this without a hard reset?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
