SP5m Wi-Fi problems ever since setting up GPRS

I never had a problem to connect to my works wi-fi router, but ever since i called Cingular yesterday and set up the media net data plan, i can't seem to keep a connection.

Usually, it'll conect for about 3 seconds, and then just disconnect... the wi-fi icon disappears from my top menu bar... Any suggestions?

Very weird... go into Settings -> Connections -> Advanced and ensure the internet connection is set to 'Automatic'.
