Hi all,

This may be a dumb question, I wondered if I can browse the Internet on the MDA II whilst it is connected to my laptop via the USB and ActiveSync connection. The laptop is connected to the Internet via a router. Otherwise I will have to continue waiting for the ROM update that will allow SD WIFI cards or pay GPRS rates.

Thanks in anticipation.

yes you can.

by why on earth would you when you have the laptop in front of you also ;)

damn handy for syncing data from the web though like weather updates and maps and the like so as to save on gprs allowances.

just link up as normal, wit til the sync shows connected and then hit your homepage whatever that may be, youll know that you are not on gprs because the gprs icon wont pop up and pages will load today rather than next week ;)

Thanks, that works fine - I should have just tried before asking ! Yes, the reason I want to do this otherwise daft thing is to test the usability on a PDA of some web sites I'm working on. Cheers.
