But first, here is my information: I have a BlackJack II and my carrier is AT&T. I have the unlimited text messaging and unlimited data plan. So onto my questions: If I get the international plan, what is the cost per minute to call someone: in the US with a US carrier? in Spain with a US carrier? in Spain with a European carrier? What is the cost to text someone: in the US with a US carrier? in Spain with a US carrier? in Spain with a European carrier? How does my data plan work when in Europe? Almost certainly your AT&T plan will not be valid abroad and you will be charged roaming charges - check with AT&T but they are likely to be VERY expensive. Check with mobile operators in Spain but normally the cheapest option for voice and text would be a PAYG sim, prices will veary but should be a lot cheaper than using and American SIM.
