Should I try all over again? maybe this is not required but restart PC after driver instalation, it may help you can repeat update process few times. Guest mel21 Posted October 2, 2008 Report Share Posted October 2, 2008 Hi, Currently on DXHi1, facing a few issues; 1) Geo tagging in camera does not indicate latitude. 2) Can't create new outgoing port in bluetooth COM Ports settings as there is nothing to click on. 3) Other phones unable to send item through bluetooth (only able to get through BT file explorer). Few questions; 1) Will the above issues be solved in the DXHi2 ROM? 2) Will the device still heat up easily like in DXHH3? 3) Any new functions compared to DXHi1? 4) Is it in English? I had a new Omnia on HH3 by default and I tried to flash it to HI1 and ended up getting the following message: Port Create retry (1) Port Create retry (0) Download failed!! I thought I had lost my phone for ever. But luckily it did start again, now its moved to DXHI1 on PDA DXHH3 on Phone. Have I got the desired result? Or Should I have got DXHI1 for both PDA and Phone using the DXHI1.exe ? Is DXHI2 recommended in my case to move to the latest rom? I had encounter the same issue when I was trying to flash HI1 using a VM. The issue seems to be other devices on COM ports. I went into the Device Manager and removed the other COM ports. My friend recieved his phone last night and we installed it with my XP laptop. He has a laptop but is is running vista :wacko: and we do not know what software is needed to install it with his visa pc. The problem is that my XP machine is unable to install 3rd party apps. We install them but the phone will not recognize and open them :( . Is it because my machine is set up for English? Am I missing some program on my machine? I removed my active sync and installed the ROM using the Russian active sync and usb driver. Can you Russian guys let me know what I have to down load to put 3rd party apps properly on his Omnia with my XP machine and his vista machine.
