My Opera views *some* flash sites ok too - I'm sure you know what mathematicians say about theorem, which is only *sometimes* correct... So I would really appreciate if someone posted theirs from v4. I didn't back up because I knew I didnt want to go back to v5 settings with locked applications security. I got impatient wating for response, so I downloaded wozzer's v4 rom again, backed up my v5 with screwed up registry and non working tcpmp, reflashed to v4, restored old v4 backup in hope to extract these working registry settings from there, reflash wozzer's v5 again, restore v5 backup with screwed up registry and then apply v4 registry settings...im almost done and im sure your post came in 2 minutes after. Oh whenever Im in a conversation with somebody on threaded messaging the messages that are sent are treated as in an inbox and there is a (1) next to the conversation. I have to get out of the conversation and return so it can go away. Kind of hard to explain. I saw like a thread or two about it and nobody seemed to find a solution. Im kind of reluctant to flash to this, but if it solves that problem then Im all for it. So if anybody with this rom can tell me if there is or not a problem related to threaded txt messaging. I set every single value in my registry to match yours and did soft reset. i've spent like 12 hours on this already, i dont know what hell is the problem anymore. WoZZeR probably knows what is the difference between his v4 and v5 that's causing this, but he must be busy coz he hasn't responded to my 3 thread posts or PM about it. I didn't have a problem with this in version 4. Also Man I miss Auto Fill for addresses in email. Any chance of getting this one figured out? I have learned to disable Xt9 and then hit backspace to get it to function. But I swear it was fully functional in Wozzers V. 2 after I added the MS Office cab AND Xt9 worked too. I've been using the gps-enabled ROM since it was available and enjoyed it. Last night I flashed wozzers most recent (stock) v5 for my first cooked ROM. Love the interface, but have run into a problem with Media Player. I'll try to detail it: First, all my music is on the storage card, about 600 songs. I had previously built 6 or 7 playlists to work in Media Player prior to flashing v5, all of which worked fine on the CC20. After flashing v5, i had MP search and add all the music files. The Music Player (from the today screen) will sporadically play music out of the entire library when invoked, but more often just locks up. When I try to enter Media Player to play a specific file or playlist the phone slows down dramatically, almost to a stop. Eventually, MP stops working and just responds with "error" in top left corner. Looking at the Today screen RAM usage spikes to over 90%. I really don't have any clue as to what to do next, or what I'm doing wrong...any help would be appreciated. I searched through the thread and couldn't find anything related to this problem, and if I'm in the wrong place, sorry. Oddly enough, i use my omnia more for a Bluetooth music player for my motorcycle more than a phone or gps, so this problem hits me pretty hard... I've tried installing other samsung-related dialers over it (e.g., Adryn i910 patched dialer) and have the same problem w/ the black text/black background. We'll see how my time goes the next couple of weeks, I may stop cooking due to time constraints. I'm not 100% sure, but we'll have to see. I have a 21728 ready, still playing with some new options, like page pool size. I'm starting from scratch from v4 basically (I got a little too greedy with extra storage space, I compress lots of stuff that shouldn't have been and it broke). I'll be checking modaco less frequently for a little while, but keep sending stuff to the bug tracker, so I can try to fix it when I have time.
