Sorry for the simpleton question, but I couldn't find anything by searching.

I'm going to try out a Galaxy Epic from Sprint, leaving behind my VZW Omnia II. How do I transfer all my pim DBs (calendar, tasks, contacts, etc.) from the Omnia to the Galaxy?

Thanks!

If you're a gmail user, you can use Google Sync to get your calendar and contacts from WM to Gmail, then Gmail to Android is easy. I never found a simple way to transfer my tasks unfortunately

Google Sync

I just did this for my Omnia 2 contacts to Galaxy S which I just bought.. should be the same for Epic since they use KIES.

Sync your Omnia 2 using Activesync to your Outlook.

Download and install Samsung KIES, run it and click on the Contacts icon. Once the Contacts window opens, click on the Outlook Sync. This will sync all your contacts to your new Galaxy S. Do likewise for Calendar. Not sure about Tasks though.
