Guest Tom G
Why can't you use the AOSP source? ZTE haven't modified it too much I think! The latest released AOSP code is 2.2.1. Its likely to be a few weeks before 2.3 is available.
Guest Tom G
New ROM. gingerbread-blade-test2-signed.zip flash with ClockworkMod. Wipe data and cache. The major changes are that the touch input is inverted to match the screen and Wifi is working. There are also some minor fixes. Lights. SD card was working but has stopped. Not sure why. RIL almost works. Detects networks but won't connect. It feels a bit quicker than the last one and is much more usable, but with no sound and no ril it is still fairly useless. Guest Rem1x
Installed this over Alpha 3 of the lastest froyo ROM, without wiping. Still have all my apps, settings, but a distinct lack of top bar. Interesting it still works, though. Edited December 12, 2010 by Rem1x

Guest Rem1x
No, nothing that exciting, just that my launcher was still there, widgets were still there, apps still there (no GAPPS, mind you). Never thought that would work. But yeah the notification bar had disappeared, for some reason.
Guest MDCFan
Ok guys, I have hacked libsurfaceflinger.so file so screen is no longer upside down! Open libsurfaceflinger.so using hex editor, go to offset 220EA and change byte 00 to 02. Then flash your ROM and enjoy. P.S. Touch is upside down, but this is because Tom G fliped it in alpha2? EDIT: attached edited file just in case somebody needs it. EDIT2: removed file. See new one here: http://android.modaco.com/index.php?s=&...t&p=1513377 Edited December 12, 2010 by MDCFan

Guest bagge
Tom, just wanted to stop by and say thanks for all the hard work you're putting into this (and all other devs ofc). Awesomeness. Is there any noticeable difference in terms of performance between this (of whats working so far) and froyo?
