You don't need the updates, just the B7610 kernel update

Afrojam,

WLAN is not fuctional on B7610 on this moment.

For GPRS set APN. Go to settings, Wireless & networks choose Mobile Network Settings. Then choose Acces Point Names.

Now you see a black screen. Use homekey (between/above call / endcall button) for menu. Choose "Add APN".

Use google to find your provider settings. After putting settings, push homekey again and choose save APN.

You should be on GPRS within a minute.

I installed again with a total clean condition but I don't know why I continue to have freeze or NO wake up condition!!!

Someone can help me?

I formatted SD memory (8GB) as FAT32

Internal memory is divided in the next way:

- 512 MB as default hidden partition with WMO (Louvre) files

- 512 MB FAT32 partition (MyMemory with label "disk")

- 1 GB ext3 partition (with label "disk0")

In "disk" I copied "beta2_1024.zip" (o2bupdate folder, default.txt, ext2.tar.gz, o2bupdate.tar.gz, haret.exe, zImage)

With ubuntu I installed ext2.tar.gz and o2bupdate.tar.gz (2D/3D driver) in "disk0"

First start up, configuration time then switch off.

I added o2b2update.tar.gz and overwrite zImage (last update Kernel-B7610-GC-REV46)

With ubuntu I extracted o2b2update and then I start up again

I added the next market tools:

- advanced task killer (aggressive and killer frequency --> when screen off)

- CPUboost

- call light

Every time I leave off for about 10 min it doen't wake up

If I can connect to charge , i can have freeze (maximum 3/4 times without problem)

i am not able to understand the problem :D

thank you all

I suspected you will say that. :D However, that just mean I have nothing to offer you, as I just took the gamble and SODs just disappeared.. My setup is almost like yours, except no CPU boost.

Double checked that you set winmo performance on 'high'? (When setting, you need to reboot the phone first before starting android)

Ok, thak you. These could be indications that may be colud solve my problem.

Now I will try to remove it.

In the next the exact tool list I have added:

3G Watchdog

Advanced task killer

APN on/off Widget

App List Backup

ASTRO

Battery Widget

Call Light

ClockSync

Data On Demand

Facebook

Get Altitude

Giornali FREE (translated newspapers FREE, for italian news)

Google Traslate

International Settings

Jewels

LiveHome

Livella

Maps

Quick Settings

Voice Search

ringtone

Silent on Charge

SMS Backup+

Street view

TTS Service Extended

Zedge

Now I will try to use without CPU Boost.

For the moment I had twice switch off no forced and it waked up normally, but in general I force sleep.

In every case thank you for your suggestions.

Bye

Giorgio

Ive perfrormed another clean install with the latest Rev46. With the unlock gesture enabled, the phone seems to be pretty stable. Ive beeb using it for 24 hours with no SOD.

I guess my previous experience with rev40 wasnt so good probably because the SD card partition went bogus on me (i guess).

Phone is very stable even after installing programs and changing settings and playing with the phone for hours.

Keep it up

what was your procedure ? so maybe I can found solution for my problems

I cannot use it more than 3 hours before to have SOD...terribly stressing and not sure for important callings (who calls believe my phone is ringing free, but it doesn't ring during freeze status)
