I'm quite happy on a rooted stock KE7 ROM and don't intend to mess around with custom ROMs. However, I would consider a new kernel and the upgrade to 2.3.4. I have a deodexed version installed with my custom power menu. Works great! Will be posting the stock deodexed version with power menu later this week. When I installed it, I noticed it formatted a lot of partitions including /data. It did not matter to me since I had already done a factory reset, wiped the cache and dalvik-cache after doing a complete backup with Titanium backup and Sprite backup. Like I said - I backed up everything, did a wipe, then installed KG2. I prefer doing this to ensure things works ok.
