ya B7610 has 256mb ram....but ram is used by different drivers....thats why user available is less

That is right. And it has been discussed over and over before in I8000 beta2 thread

Erik so on what issues you are working nowadays ?

Thrown wifi away for a few days, in a spiral with no solution so I've to clear my head for that.

I am currently working on my relationship with my 11 weeks old daughter mainly, she deserves it :)

And very busy @ work as the end of the year approaches

Will resume my endless wifi project in the upcoming weekend.

For all of you who want to help, all input is welcome. But please PM, lets keep the forum clean.

Google on wl1271, wl12xx, wlan_loader, wpa_supplicant.

Again: Kernel modules are loading. Android is not able to load the firmware.

How can I make my phone "rooted" again without reinstall? (because I have reinstalled 2 times). Now in Terminal Emulator when type su-->permission denied, still "$" not "#"

phone not root, because I try to folder /data/data but cannot access(used Terminal Emulator) and empty(used root explorer)

how do you know it is empty when you cannot access it?

via terminal emulator I can access it, but have to become su first

headphone fix didn't work for me,,,i've rebooted lot of times but it still doesn't work

Strange. Works perfectly for me and I received a few dozen "thank you's" for making headphones work.

When did you download the file? I re-uploaded it again a few days ago because it was wrongly packed.

I can confirm headphone fix works correctly

If I use terminal Emulator:

$ su (type by me)

su: access granted, coutesy of www.magicandroidapps.com

su: permission denied

$

Is it so rooted?

It is

Mine says:

Permission granted. In superusers options you can check and upgrade binaries. Did you try that?

I try check and upgrade binaries in superuser option. But fail.

Log update:

download new binary ... okey!

checking md5sum...okey!

gaining root access...fail!

for people suffering lack of root access, please try this update and post back your findings.

su.zip

Note: please post constructive feedback with logcat output.

I cannot dig into it by just "it isn't working".

Thanx

I've installed it...how can i say to you if it works or not?

terminal, type su

never mind, finally I am able to reproduce! after 20 fresh installs I finally get acces denied. So now I can investigate what goes wrong (not entirely right :P)

su:access granted, courtesy of www.magicandroidapps.com
