red rice wcdma - well maybe, but it is already the end

of September and I don't think it will be available before

a month or so. And you will have presell delays then.

Soon in stock and stuff like that.

Octa core - it won't be reliable investment at start.

First batches - I wouldn't put my money there.

You'll have expensive models with cheaper ones arriving

"soon" - just like jiayu g4 and neo story we saw at the

beginning of this year...

If I can't find a V5 in the UK then I will get a Red Rice but not at the price some site are charging. I would rather wait a month or two.

Great news for MIUI fans:

MIUI prepares official release for a large number of MTK phones.
The first wave is expected to be launched in late October, with support for 36 MTK-based phones.
Other models will follow soon...

Can't see my iNew i2000 there if it was getting MIUI I would keep it and not go for a V5

Why the seeming surprise when you posted this earlier?

think they got that wrong, should be "anyone with a supported device"

you cant make a universal build of CyanogenMod or anything else, because of the different hardware devices use, it needs to be built for each device individually.

and if they use Oppo to make a device, it doubt it will be cheap, and 100% sure it wont be MTK based (for obvious reasons)

But if we get it as it was probably meant - with emphasis on anyone and simple click

then we get to the concept like this:

shuame.jpg

meaning - you don´t have to know what cwm is or where to put your rom and what flashing is.

I think Baidu LeWa and Miui already have a similar solution for their suported devices.

CM team saw that and got the idea...

Lewa roms on Lewa devices thru Lewa installer

CM roms on CM devices thru CM installer over Google Play...

Probably some money milks along the way :)

I guess, of course :)

Nr 8 is Huawei T520. It's not a smartphone, and it's so old it's no longer on Huawei's device list.

The unlock forums describe it as a "TI CPU" phone, so maybe that's a mistake & Nr 8 should be something else??

edit: Like, doh, Huawei G520 一动版

I saw that old phone and it surely isn´t that one.

Thanks, it realy is huawei G520 - i checked it.

It seems that original list has a mistake :)

i just think the way gizchina said it will be misleading lots of people who don't understand how CM works,

and will be disappointed when they find out that anyone cant actually have the latest builds, mainly all the MTK owners.

fortunately it landed on the corner so dented the case and cracked a very small corner of screen. I reckon i got off lightly.

Note to self :BE MORE CAREFUL!

I think its down to the size of this phone. 5.3 inches is a tad too big.

but hey it was cheap as chips. easy come easy go!

The more I play and fiddle with my W200 the more I hate the G300 and wondered how the hell I put up with it so long. I can't get over how good to look at, and how silky smooth it runs. This thing is what android is all about...And it looks like a £300 phone easily so no socially awkward penguin moments.... Verdict is out though that the battery life is very average indeed.

What sort of battery life do you consider average? Post a screen shot of your usage screen and screen on time?

the freelander i30 is the same as the Newman K1, mines the K1a at 5.3 inches.

i cant knock the phone and the OS is Slick. Battery life is just under 2 days but buy a

jelly or a case as its a tad big to juggle with.
