I have the translucent notification bar, I just went to >/>system>build.prop and changed "ro.config.low_ram=true" to "ro.config.low_ram=false" using the CM file explorer / Editor and restarted the phone.

No problem :P

By the way has anyone got "OK Google" to work? I had it working on the Experimental build but now that option doesn't show up on settings (even with English US) :/

You can delete icons or widgets, just drop them to very small place in middle top of screen. There is not any icon like "delete" or "remove". Just place where icons and wallpapers goes red.

Thanks!

@welniuks......Yeah I read that - glad you sorted it.  No issues on launcher for me.  But then I use Nova and didn't do factory reset/wipe data.  RE: Play Store: Did you wipe all data before flashing? and what rom were you running before?  I should add, I have wiped cached and dalvik and reflashed gapps twice.

Just read my earlier post's what I did.

I've heard two stories :

(1) GPRS disconnects when the phone goes into standby

(2) GPRS disconnects when the phone goes into standby, but not if you are running an app using GPRS at the time (such as MSN Messenger).

Which is correct? (2) seems entirely reasonable to me - but (1) doesn't sound very good at all...

Were you using the CM file manager to make thw changes? I've noticed people get the loop when using other programs.

@shisura.... I restored my cm11 experimental backup and then reflashed without wipes.  play store still not working :-(

You restored a backup of an earlier ROM or experimental version 11?

Can't you search nova launcher or at least a keyboard in the play store? I know it sounds hard but its not impossible :P

I get boot lopp after that change ( In the editor I can't even save the changes since it gives an error (can't save)) Do you have CM11 givem by Dazz on this thread or another one? And what gapps?

I have the U8815-51 (Hynix) with CWM 6.0.4.4 R7 and flashed cm11-20131209, everything working fine so far, not lag or buggy launcher. Play store working great! :D

You're brave. Please report on your experience, we hynix users are usually afraid of flashing the new kernel!

Or are you simply unaware that this rom might brick phones with hynix chip?

I know that, just want to try it and the results are not bad at all, I think the problem with Hynix is just a bad batch of it, also my model its for the 850Mhz band (Argentina) maybe Hynix mems are good on this ones, don't know

I Just flash it as regular, wipes etc.. (sorry for my bad english)

I'm from Argentina too. Let's hope it's just a bad batch. Anyways, just in case, there was a guy here that flashed cm11 having a hynix memory and his phone bricked after a few days...

Saludos!
