This is my port of Remix OS 2.0 for Cube iWork8 Ultimate (I1-T/I1-TD/I1-TWB/I1-TC) and iWork8 Air (I1-TF/I1-TFB). This ROM is based on Onda v820w CH official Remix OS release build B2016051301.

Issues:

• SELinux is in permissive mode
• It's still an early release - expect minor problems

How to install:

1. boot into TWRP recovery
2. backup -> backup (create a nandroid backup of your current ROM)
3. wipe -> advanced wipe -> wipe /system
4. wipe -> factory reset
5. install RemixOS-2016xxxx-cht_cr_mrd.zip
6. (install I1-TD/I1-TWB/I1-TC/I1-TF/I1-TFB patch if necessary)
7. (install SuperSU and/or BusyBox if you want to)
8. reboot system

 

FAQ:

Q: I don't have root. I don't have busybox. What should I do?
A: Download SuperSU and/or BusyBox flashable zip and install it in TWRP.

Q: I can't find developer options, why?
A: Settings -> About tablet -> Click 'Build number' several times

Q: I have I1-TD/I1-TWB/I1-TC model with different touchscreen hardware. What should I do?
A: Download patch below suitable for your device and install it in TWRP.

Yes. Win10 OS,everything works fine. 

Remix I can not fully tested. But the fact that I tested everything works.

I decided to leave the CyanogenMod. It seems to me better. (IMHO)

Ok, thanks  !  Your english is not bad, I understood what you meant. 

After flashing this rom, do you need to reinstall the win10 ?

Win10 do not need to reinstall. In any case, the make image of the entire disk through Macrium Reflect. (Link in Russian). You can always restore to its original state.

I installed the RemixOS and the patch. It is loading but the touchscreen is not responsive, only some part is. I applied the patch RemixOS-cht_cr_mrd-I1-TF.zip also.

What did i wrong? Am I missing something?

Follow installation instructions in the third post. This has been reported working on iWork8 Air (I1-TF).

i have tried the remix os. 

not tested everything but seems to work fine . better then the stock but it is to much windows for me. i wait for cm 12.

First of all thank you for your work! everything works fine. it even fixed my touch problems from previous experiments. 

is there any chance of you working on remix os 3? or is there a way to upgrade?

Remix OS 3.0 is based on Android 6.0 and that is not available to any Cherry Trail device AFAIK.

Check if there's an option in Settings -> Applications. If not, you simply can't.

Hi KonstaT, 

First and foremost, thanks a lot for making Remix OS available for my tablet. 

I was wondering if you could provide a guide on how to only install Remix OS and have no Android and Windows partitions. I managed to install the Android only via the solution on techtablets.com. The bootloader deletes all data, since it expects 'android_' and well, gets 'android_' now that windows is removed. Thus I can't install the TWRP zip via TWRP. I've tried many different things, but still can't get a breakthrough. 

I hope you have a solution. Thanks in advance. 

 

EDIT: I've managed to install it. Cube iWork8 Air with Remix OS 2.0 as the only OS. 25 GB free space. Everything's working. AnTuTu score of 58.xxx.
