Problem with Galaxy S7 Adoptable Storage

Recommended Posts

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 and am trying to change my SD card to adoptable storage.  I am using ADB and get the disk:179,0 address, but the real issue is when I do the partition, it returns immediately and doesn't create the partition.  I have developer turned on, but under USB Configuration I don't get Software Transfer choice.  All I get is Charging, MTP, PTP, RNDIS, Audio Source and MIDI options.  What could be wrong?  I am baffled as to what is happening.  Someone please help.  USB debugging is on.

Hi there, I am experiencing the same thing after I got my S7 Edge back from repair. Any news on this? I have tried everything in the guide posted by Paul O'Brien with no luck:
