Small and weak countries shouldn't have bee let it. But, they (superior countries) NEEDS them, mate. When you're strong, you need weak to serving you! When you're strong, you need weak to serving you!Small and weak is very subjective Most Eurozone countries have a structurally better economy than the UKs... the UK is probably only above Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece and *maybe* Ireland and Belgium in this regard Small countries do not really get taken advantage of in the EU, as they have proportionally more representation than the larger ones Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You just have to look at the state of Portugal, Ireland & Greece's economies to see why the UK opted out and kept the Pound. The Eurozone is made up of 20 odd countries with different scales of economy which means the single currency will never work. Also why should Britain bail out the Eurozone countries when Britain isn't in the Eurozone itself. I also want out of the EU, the British goverment send £42m per day to Brussels.
