ANN: Destinator SP - GPS car nav. software for Smartphones

A really neat looking piece of Software for in car GPS based navigation, has just been announced by "Destinator", a European navigation systems maker.

The website is in Italian, but roughly translated the quote runs:

Canadian HSCT has introduced to the edition the 2004 of SMAU Italy version developed for cellular Microsoft Smartphone of the famous software of navigation to satellitare GPS Destinator.

We have had the opportunity to test in preview this solution in version beta with testuale and vocal support in English.

The definitive version is attended for the half of November obviously and totally in Italian.

With the exception of Tom Mobile Tom Destinator for Smartphone the Microsoft Smartphone is compatible with all cellular and all receivers GPS Bluetooth.

The cartography to disposition of the customer is dated Q3 2004.

Also in presence of numerous functions, some also of the all exclusive rights, the menu of access are sure migliorabile.

It sure needs of a simplification in starting at least those that are the demanded functions more from the customer.

The much good speed of search and consultation to the inside of the database.

Other aspect a lot important turns out that legacy to the cartography much recent one and dated Q3 2004 with the exception of Tom Mobile Tom that still has cartography 2003.

Destinator will be available in the course of the next month of November.

The destinator appears to have australian site (with australian maps), but I don't think they have software (on the australian site) for the smartphone. - http://destinator.com.au
