White Screen Problem

I have a unlocked smt 5600 i have had it for a while and it has been workoing great, but reacently the screen just went white everything else still works i can accept calls and send them without a problem, but the screen is white.

I have tried to push the ribbion that connects the lcd in farther but i dont think i am doing it right, so if anyone could explain it a bit better that would be great.

I've just found the same problem with my c500, does this mean i have to change phone or have you sorted a way around it?

Have you checked the manual for instruction on how to reset it to factory settings? If it's not in the manual, ring Orange (c500) and they'll explain what to do.
