Guest zamo_x Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 File Name :: Alarm Set Author :: zamo_x Category :: Utilities - Phone Management Description :: Small application which allows you to quickly set alarm of a Windows Smartphone. Add it to speed dial and you have quick access to set alarm. Now you can set alarm loop. Tested on SPV C500, should work on all Windows Mobile 2003 SE. Updated Wed, Apr 13 2005 3:14 pm View File
Guest zamo_x Posted April 13, 2005 Report Posted April 13, 2005 When you select "loop alarm" the alarm sound won't stop... until you dismiss it..
Guest crazzel Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 (edited) too bad.. it does not seem to work on 2002. would be great if you could port it? - seeking for that kind of program for a long time already Edited April 14, 2005 by crazzel

Guest BrAGoL Posted April 15, 2005 Report Posted April 15, 2005 (edited) do you have .net compact framework installed? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> glad to hear that! ;) but do we have to install other file like *.vb to make it run on tanager? :?: Edited April 15, 2005 by BrAGoL
Guest i_oWn_u Posted April 15, 2005 Report Posted April 15, 2005 They should have an alarm that turns on your phone and that alarm goes off until you push snooze or off. (alarm clock)

(alarm clock) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> function to turn on your phone is not implemented, but if you check alarm loop it will ring until you push snooze.
Guest Baddass Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 nice little app, works well, quite slow to get to the section to set it all once you've used the speed dial, but not a major problem. Thanks ;)
Guest thechrisjung Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 Can anyone tell me how to install this program? I d/l the file and extracted but what do I do with the .xml and .001 file?
Guest nIghtorius Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 Can anyone tell me how to install this program? I d/l the file and extracted but what do I do with the .xml and .001 file? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> do not extract the file.. copy it to your phone and use the file explorer to install.. the phone will ask where you want to install it and the installer will do the rest.

Guest mupwangle Posted May 1, 2005 Report Posted May 1, 2005 >>function to turn on your phone is not implemented, I thought that the MS software can't control the hardware at that level. Mibbe I'm wrong.
Guest danman_dk Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 Good job zamo_x...been using this for a few weeks now! ...if you're interested in feedback: 1) is there a way to make the 'snooze' a bit longer...5 minutes is not enough sleep! 2) can you make a nicer 'large' icon? I've got the link hardcoded on my homepage, but she ain't the prettiest one...sorry to say. Thanks!

Thanks! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yep agree great prog, only thing is, I am using it on the C500 and it works fine but is there a way of changing the sound and turning up the volume, its far too quiet to wake me up lol. thanks
Guest jem777 Posted June 9, 2005 Report Posted June 9, 2005 It should be cool to have an icon on the home page indicating that the alarm is ON. Jem777
Guest sprocket87 Posted June 15, 2005 Report Posted June 15, 2005 It should be cool to have an icon on the home page indicating that the alarm is ON. Jem777 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Definately agree! My ideal alarm app would have the following features: - Set alarm time (obviously) - Loop or single play - Snooze with adjustable length - Homepage plugin/status indicator - Vibrate/audible selection - Selectable audio file for alarm (including MP3 and WMA) - "Single" or "Recurring" option (one-time alarm only or daily repetition) - Speed dial shortcut activate - Possible supporting multiple alarms There might be a couple more features I'd like, but that about covers it I think.
Guest jonhguth Posted June 29, 2005 Report Posted June 29, 2005 is there anyway i can change the sound and make it louder i want to use my phone as an alarm clock when i'm at the gf's but the sound it has isn't loud enough
Guest pimpie Posted August 8, 2005 Report Posted August 8, 2005 Very nice little app! I have been searching for a way to set the alarm programmatically because I am VERY annoyed with the way MS have hidden it inside a sub-sub-submenu, but your app does exactly what I wanted to do! Good job! One tip to users: the .NET framework takes a fairly long time to boot which might make it less economic to use this program. So if you have started this program, don't exit it, but just se the "home" button to return to the home screen and leave the app running. Next time you press the Alarm set speed dial, the app will be quick.
Guest Posted August 8, 2005 Report Posted August 8, 2005 Great App, Should it also be posiblle to have the option "OFF/Every Day/One time. Because the problem i have is that i only want to set the alarm for tomorow and not for the day after It works on my T-mobile sda
Guest Gawc Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 (edited) Loop doesnt seems to do anything ? rings same way no matter it is on or off... or have I misunderstood this tag ? Loop, then it wont shut up ?? :) anyway, using spv500 ;) Edited August 9, 2005 by Gawc
