Does anyone have an email address that I can contact HTC on?

but by going on the website, theres no email address to contact them by!

what i wanted to ask them is that if i order a replacement joystick on my e100, will it fix the problem i have where if i press up it will respond by going up and then left by itself for example?

i also need the software to be re installed because it wont turn on.

I was in contact with HTC a month or so ago, and got a few replies from "[email protected]". Don't have any other addresses for them, unfortunately.

If you need to reinstall the software anyway, would it not be worth trying that yourself and seeing if it fixes the problem? It's quite a simple proceedure to either perform a hard reset or simply re-flash the most up to date ROM back onto the phone? That way, if it still happens at least you've ruled out software issues so at least you know it's nothing you could've fixed for free!

Good luck. ;)

With the right Orange contract such as 200mins and 500 texts (£30 per mth) it is free (or it was in Sep 04).

If you want pay as you go, I am not sure. Check the MoDaCo shop.

If you want it contractless I don't know what the cost would be.

Someone posted a link for HTC's nominated repair centres in the UK.

I can't find it now but what I do remember is that most of them were actually Carphone Warehouse.

You could try them.

I'd just get a c500 ;)

but the cost or repairing my e100 is only about £30 and a c500 is quite expensive

It's not if you are out of contract (see up). If you are in contract period still it would be.

I don't know if you're still interested in my reply but, for example, this is my local address for HTC repairs :

Carphone Warehouse Express Repair Centre, Unit C, Coventry Business Park, Tilehill Lane, Coventry, CV4 9DE, United Kingdom. Tel: 08707 204149. Fax: 024 7667 3467 .

Your local phone book should give you an address nearer to you.

i have just tried to fill my details on www.htceurope.com and after getting to section 9 on the website where it tells me how much it will cost, there is not button or anything to go any further. Can anyone help?

HTC Europe seems to be run by about three people so don't be surprised if they don't reply to emails or answer the phone. They've had my phone for double their estimated 5 day turnaround and even though the tracking details say it was fixed 2 days ago, they still haven't posted it back yet. Their website now claims you can phone only between 2pm-5pm, although you still just get an answerphone and cannot actually speak to anyone. Their haven't replied to emails that I sent 3 days ago. I did manage to get through to the "switchboard" by pressing 0 during the recorded message, but the woman who answered seemed surprised her phone had rung and when I asked to be put through to repairs, she said "he's on the phone". So just the one engineer then.

I'm not buying another HTC phone until they sort their act out. Would you seriously buy a product from a company that you can only contact for 3 hours a day and even then only be leaving them a voicemail?
