i cant get it to work:( i can get the oputline of a clock with a white background,but when i select a background it says no homescreen layouts can be found install a valid homescreen layout then select it usinghomescreen item in settings.most appreciated if you can help.cheers

Hmm not sure. I had the same problem when making a homescreen the other day and had to remake the XML. Does setting the background image to defualt work?

when i set it to default i get just a circle and the hands,but the background is white,when i set the background to a clock thing it comes up with the error thing which i previously said

There is an error in the XML the location listed for the background image is wrong .

Ahh...now that all depends. The code he has is fine for WM5, as there is no longer a storage folder. 8)

The best option is to just do "image.jpg" as it will then look in the folder that the xml is in, whatever the folder.

I've not played with WM5 on the Smartphone yet os the above is for the C550 Wm2003Se device.

aaaah very nice

i have modded the xml file a bit special for my SP5 phone.

there is now an program select on the bottem and the clock is in the middle now.

I've installed rjtime and this theme but the clock is not centered, but shifted to the left, say a 15-20 pixel offset........ how come?

And some of the bundled background image appear with a white stripe below....
