Contacts - File As

On my old SPV smartphone I was able to select how contacts were displayed for each contact by the File As: combo within the contact which offered:

Last, First

First Last

Company

Last, First (Company)

Company (Last, First)

Company (First Last)

Am I just being blind, as there doesnt seem to be an equivalent option on WM2003!

I think that you can update the contact in Outlook and it then will display correctly on the phone following an synch.

Yup! I've been looking in vain for this option too.

The only way i've been able to do it is like you said, in Outlook.

Free Bump... seriously tho does anybody have a clue on this, its the same problem with the blue angel and it really annoying, i find myself syncing just to refile the contacts :x

I really can't believe a PDA like the Magician doesn't give better access to manipulate contacts. It's just so weird! Maybe we can buy some third party software to give better control? Will check it out, if I ever get the time... ;)

Anyway, for now all I have is this fix I found on a Norwegian site, don't remember which. I haven't tried it out yet, but I believe it fixes your contacts here and now. When you enter a new contact into the database, you have to run this fix again.
