Guest Mr_Fen Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 I have recently had my spv e200 replaced with a C550. I have copied the sms message folder and all contents from the e200 with the thought i could place them into the message folder of the C550. I have done this and they are not available. Is there a clever way i can view my old messages on the new handset or a free application i can use to view them on my PC? any help would be greatfully recieved :o
Guest Disco Stu Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 I've not heard of anything that will do that specifically but there are various SMS management application for the PC. Handango & Smartphone.net will have them - Jeyo's Mobile Extender etc spring to mind - and you could look on Airfagev for freeware alternatives. Then again there is AllExport which is on this forum somewhere. Sorry I can't be more helpfull :o
Guest slider Posted September 29, 2005 Report Posted September 29, 2005 Download the free trial of Jeyo Mobile companion from www.jeyo.com. Run it, then plug in your E200... Right click on your inbox folder on the left hand side and export your messages, once done then swap phones and import them into the C500 (I think it should work)

I do have the .att files and the .mpb files saved on my PC. If i tryout one of these applications will they still work?
