Soft Reset after a Hard Reset trick ?

Hi There Folks , Im new here. :)

After reading about the bigstorage rom and related stuff i would like the extra space without flashing the rom .

So the soft reset after a hard reset trick sounds good to me .

Any chance someone can explain this to me , how to do it and how it works ?
