Guest claretnblue Posted February 18, 2005 Report Posted February 18, 2005 Hi, I've just got my SPV M2000. It's great - not sure it was worth the two months wait - but anyway, I do like it. However, one of the first things I tried to do is upload a photo to my website using internet explorer. I expected IE to have normal file upload capabilities but it simply does not even render input boxes of this type. I am hoping this is just a limitation of the browser and not the os. Could someone confirm this and point me toward a different browser which DOES allow file uploads? thanks a lot, claretnblue
Guest fraser Posted February 18, 2005 Report Posted February 18, 2005 It's definetely the browser, not the OS. If you can't find a suitable browser, you could try using FTP I guess.
Guest claretnblue Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 Thanks Fraser. I guess I could but I went for a hi-spec phone so that I don't have to make compromises like that. Anyway, I have found a browser called NetFront which does have file upload - as well as tabbed browsing and image save too! It works very well and is a lot more featured than IE. Cheers! Netfront v IE comparison
Guest fraser Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 Cool. I'm using ftxPBrowser, which also does tabs. Might check out our suggestion, frxPBrowser isn't as good at reformatting for the screen (less options). On the other hand, it's free!
