Titanium Weather stopped working suddenly!!

Hopefully some of you guys can help me figure this out.

I was running Wozzer's brilliant 6.5 rom (v2 lite) and suddenly the Titanium weather stopped working - all I was seeing was big red X's (which I have never seen before - even when the phone was out of network coverage)..So I soft reset it a couple of times and nothing works.

I am thinking then that I am due for a rom update anyway so I hard reset everything (the phone and my storage) and flash it to v5 Lite and within seconds of turning the phone on I get the same problem..

Then I said what the hell..I flashed the phone once again to BW's 5.1 rom and it still does not fix the problem

I know the phone is connected to the Internet and the data connection works

I even installed a seperate Titanium plugin from XDA and I am still not able to get this thing to work...

Needless to say, I am at the end of my rope in trying to rectify this...help!

yeah... same thing as of this morning keeps showing big X says updating but not showing anything... maybe accuweather is having challenge

The server that is used to give us the weather is having issues. I'm sure Showaco will be working on it.

GAW I was beating my head against a wall all evening trying to debug this!! Shoulda come the forum first :D I'll just leave it alone until tomorrow. I almost reflased!!!

lol i was annoyed at this also. but i'm usually driving, and my car has a temp readout so i just went "meh"

got weather.com's local paged bookmarked anywho :D glad to know its a server problem tho

I'm running Wozzer's V5 lite rom on the i910 and I dont see any titanium weather folder in programs files. Anyone else have this problem. I will say that I "uninstalled" the titanium weather from the menu it has within the setup for the weather but then it said that I need to uninstall it in the remove programs so I'm guessing it didnt uninstall anything, as it is still in the chrome menu just all screwed up.

removed cab it wasnt a fix for everyone just people with titanium weather4.2 on cooked roms!

Hi Sector,

It really doesnt work, Iam using v3D version. It doesnt work at all but I tried on 3.1.3 version which is updated but the icons all with "Red X".

Anyone facing the same problem...

Hi all, nub to the winmo world here. I've flashed the cc20 and wozzer's 6.5 v5 with no issues other than some of the more common ones written about here. Thanks to all for their hard work and dedication. I too was having trouble with titanium weather not updating. I used Sector's fix file only my copy was located in \windows, not \program files\titaniumweather. Now it updates fine but I'm also stuck with the red "x" icons. idea's anyone? Also, has anyone gotten Wozzer's registry edit for the google search widget in touchflow to work??

Ive got to say these rom's are way ahead of the stock one from verizon! Thanks to all again! :D

not sure about Wozzers rom im not sure how its set up but the cab has worked for all my users. you did unzip the folder from sector right?

I am running Titanium Weather 4.2 and it stopped working this morning. I downloaded Sector's zip file (earlier in this post), put it in the Programs/Titanium Weather folder (overwrite) and now it is working, including the icons. I did NOT run the cab. I am using Adrynalyne's 6.5 Base rom (v3.6). Based on the posts I've seen on here so far, use the cab if Titanium Weather is cooked into your rom, otherwise use the zip file.

Does anyone know what caused this to stop working? I thought I was using the most recent version.
