omnia case + Stylus pen fit in?

the "Original" Stylus pen is annoying when it is hanging out of the phone..

anyone know where to buy (if there is any) rubber or other omnia cover including place of any Stylus pen?

i'm talking about cover that will hold in it the Stylus pen like the HTC touch HD..

I do like this idea, but then we are back to the separate stylus problem...I like the idea of the first post, but not the price....They need to come out with JUST the back with a place for the stylus....no extra battery needed!!!.....off to search in ebay LOL!!!!

The stylus is annoying when it hangs off of the device. I tried it myself for a couple of weeks but then I just got really irritated by it. Other than that, the stylus is a bit cool... in of itself... but you don't really need it - except for maybe pushing the reset button at the top of the device.

I have found that the device works just fine with finger nail taps. It took a little practice of course but it's all good now. Give it a try!

I highly recommend recalibrating the screen alignment so that it will accurately respond to your finger taps. Lie the device flat on a table -- this is critical! Go to Screen, Align, and then use your finger nail to tap the target.

i saw this already..

i'm searching omnia cover that also protect it while using it.. this one you show it's pocket cover..

i want to find (if there is) omnia cover like the sillicon cover that wrap the omnia + place to put the stylus on the side or something like that... and not pocket cover that i need to take-out the phone from it each time i'm using it..

Old thread, there are a few others with reviews on the case but you can buy it here. It will not work on the i900L without modifying the case.

they were cool enough to send me replacement cases the first time for free but the stylus, which is the main reason for getting this case is very poor quality. I've had four and the back plastic part of the stylus that makes it fit in the case breaks off within weeks of VERY LIGHT USE. you can understand how careful I would be on the fourth case but still it broke within two weeks, also, it isn't tightly enough secured. I almost lost the pen before it broke because it would catch on the pocket sometimes while I was pulling it out and there is no way you can hear that little pin drop.

The initial stylus design is pretty poor, but it only takes a few minutes and some patience to make it how it should have been.

In those pictures you can see the black triangle that the metal piece is connected to. The metal piece is only connected by a tiny plastic peg, they designed this completely backwards. This is what I did, the first time it breaks on you is file down the plastic peg flat with the larger diameter peg that the metal piece butts up against, then taking a 3/32nd inch drill bit, by hand not with a drill, bore out the inside of the lower peg, fill with glue and slide the metal piece in. Permanent solution and it looks and works the same as it ships to you.

In my pictures, you can't see what i mean, but thats the point! :D I made the hole deep enough so that it would go up to the notch in the metal part, as you can see it is "absent" in the picture, but that is just because its barely inside the plastic base. Very sturdy, no more breaking problems.
