Guest kibiwi Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 (edited) Maybe someone can make it a sticky? Anyway! this is a great initiative! I think we can ask Paul to stick this thread as a collection of useful posts (better in some posts a summary...) :) For the rom dump I think this post is more comprehensive... Guest barki82 Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 (edited) Can somebody tell me the default values of theese in 6.5 Rom? \HKCU\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\Ring\AttenuationCategory - Value: ?\HKCU\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\Ring\InitVol - Value: ? I was trying one solution to fix the volume changing during incoming call ring, and forgot to write down the values before changing. BTW the solution is not workin, and my phone is no longer ringing, only vibration during incoming call, so please someone just check values in your registry and reply me if u can Edited January 8, 2010 by barki82

Guest valcon Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 The problem with "auto-closing" application still isn't solved (i.e. on my B7610 running original WinMo 6.5). The LowMem settings don't seem to have a significant effect: the apps still get closed, albeit less quickly.
Guest Sheep82 Posted January 24, 2010 Report Posted January 24, 2010 Hey ernstjan! I tried the TMC dll found in de O2 topic to enable TMC for igo8 and it also works for our devices. Maybe you can add that one to your collection thread. Nice initiative to start a collection thread btw.
Guest mementomori Posted January 24, 2010 Report Posted January 24, 2010 Questions & Answers Can I use my own dumped ROM as a backup? No you can't, read more over here. Can I remap some of the hardware keys? It's not (yet) possible. Hard reset (using hardware) is not working? We know, it's a bug in the WM6.5 upgrade. You can still reset using this method. My B7620 doesn't have the option to change language? That's right, just flash a new rom. More info over here. Can I extend the QWERTY backlight time-out? Not yet, but there is a thread on it here. My bluetooth headset isn't working properly? Another bug by Samsung, we can't help you B) Why can't I download Samsung widgets? Samsung forget :) You can get an update here. AE button plus lets you remap hardware buttons
