Guest lastnikita Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 You guys must have already flashed it now ;) Does it have fingerscrolling please ?
Guest 1Mack Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 (edited) I have not flashd it yet "no time ;) :( " can anyone report in about their findings? I am bringing my phone up to a full charge then I will give it a shot. Edited September 16, 2008 by 1Mack
Guest 1Mack Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 (edited) OPK Guys this is what I got. There is no finger scroll in as many places as before like int he settings tab. But it is still there in the progarms menu and contacts. There is no SS keyboard. There is that new dice game everyone says that is out. Word Power app for the Chinese Bothers. It is pretty zippy. I did not look to see how many rotation options there was. Switching back to HH3 right now Edited September 16, 2008 by 1Mack
Guest lastnikita Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 hi, when you say there is fingerscrolling in program's menu, do you mean samsung's one (mainmenu) or microsoft's one (start menu > programs) please ? looks like there is a 5 dice version on that one, cool ;)

There was no finger scroll there.
Guest GSeeker2 Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 OMG! NOT again! Why all the HongKong English roms are lack of finger-scrolling fuction? ;) I'm just ready to flash it. Anyway, much appreciate for the great test!
Guest 1Mack Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 No problem. I am back on HH3 and I have the dice game up and running on my rig ;) :( . Of course I could never do a review as good as Paul does or any of the other Modaco vets do but I tried

Can you select 2 or 5 dice like the above screenshot?

Guest lastnikita Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 Why all the HongKong English roms are lack of finger-scrolling fuction? The real question is, why do all the others include it ! ;) Just try FTouchSL or FTouchFLO (that one is free) once, and you'll never go back..
Guest jasonrabbit Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 (edited) hi i have flashed XXHH7 and have finger scroll in setting/system, if you mean flick your finger in the white space and the screen moves on its on with a clicking noise then XXHH7 has this Also it has S/S keyboard + Keypad + phonepad Edited September 16, 2008 by jasonrabbit
Guest bobobird Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 Apart from the missing finger-scroll issue are there any other issues with this new ROM?? ie battery life, etc. Thanks I am currently using the DZHG3 which I am happy with (tried all those offered in the sticky but always returned to this one). No finger scrolling in settings area but that is not a great issue. It is an English rom with an additional Chinese SIP (Plum) so it is possible to do Chinese if needed. But that SIP has the annoying habit of popping up as the default. The pics does not show the extra SIP so that would be good for me. But having a Chinese app means that at least there is still some entry method that is not tied to the main keyboards. Will give the new one a try and see how it goes.
Guest 1Mack Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 1Mack, do you mind sharing the dice game? Can you select 2 or 5 dice like the above screenshot? The sound is different than the original but it has both the 2 and 5Dice.zip
Guest starbuck123 Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 The sound is different than the original but it has both the 2 and 5 Thanks! Works great!
Guest fychan Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 Anyone with HH4 can advice if the Operator Settings are empty? The last HK english ROM the operator settings are empty..... Please confirm.... I would love this ROM if its without Scrolling....FTOUCHSL.....is the best... The absense of Samsung keyboard is fine... that can be fixed.... but if the operator is empty.... then that would be really inconvenient..... regards fy....
Guest pidsw Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 Where is XXHH7? I haven't seen that. Also what version of Wince OS is on the ZNHH4? I am hoping that 20758 will be adopted soon. That one feels more responssive and has better memory use/caching (subjective, and at least on the Kaiser) Has anyone flashed it twice? ZNHH2 had more free memory on the second flash,. I still don't know why ZNHH2 had a newer OS than the italian HI1 ROM. Thanks!
