Guest wingw Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 I'll look into the chinese support. Was it working with M2D01? No, but installing chinese fonts fixed the problem. I'll try to find a link to the chinese fonts I'm using now, if not i'll upload it to mediafire and post a link later.
Guest wingw Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Found it... Just pick the font you want to use and install the cab. http://www.studiokuma.com/wm/?section=support
Guest georo Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Got-it work I install another skin and after that mine and is working now.
Guest PaSSoA Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 (edited) Great find wingw! Thanks! Updated second post. @georo, so it's a problem with the xml settings? Edited October 28, 2008 by PaSSoA
Guest amoebax1 Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Is it possible to add Chinese support back with this ROM? I've tried flash i900DXHJ1.CSC back to it. Got the Chinese SIPs but the characters are not showing correctly, all squares. you need to download sunfon.ac3 and put it into \Windows, in order to get the chinese characters displayed correctly.
Guest Phil20vt Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Same problem with the clock here. Just installed another theme and it fine now. Thanks Guys!
Guest RodolfoG Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Hi PaSSoA, many thanks for the new build. I really, really liked the first theme you used and hope you will revert back to that as base theme if possible. Any new themes can be added by the user at any time later. I'm guessing PaSSoA prefers the current theme as this is probably the ROM he personally uses... Nonetheless PaSSoA, could you or someone make the original M2D01 ROM's theme available as a separate download, or maybe a link to where you got it? Thanks!
Guest D_KoS Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 (edited) PaSSoA!!! THX you! this ROM is perfect for Omnia! youl do a greate job! Respect! after yusing this ROM-can say this ROM work very fast! more fast then original widget! its greate! Edited October 28, 2008 by D_KoS
Guest twosix Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Found it... Just pick the font you want to use and install the cab. http://www.studiokuma.com/wm/?section=support This is traditional chinese. Simplified chinese will be great.

Guest kensong Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 I'm guessing PaSSoA prefers the current theme as this is probably the ROM he personally uses... Nonetheless PaSSoA, could you or someone make the original M2D01 ROM's theme available as a separate download, or maybe a link to where you got it? Thanks! Yes, I guess as much but I think PaSSoA must have liked the first theme too since he chose that to start with
Guest zkyevolved Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Hello Just wondering will this work for me? I am in Thailand and bought my omnia from Thailand? It Should
Guest zkyevolved Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Hi PaSSoA, many thanks for the new build. I really, really liked the first theme you used and hope you will revert back to that as base theme if possible. Any new themes can be added by the user at any time later. I second that  The first theme was awesome. I downloaded another theme and it's OK for the moment, but I really enjoyed the colors and such on your original one :D. We need to start just a simple thread with M2D themes! ;) Can I get a holla?
Guest Slive Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 I overslept today, because the alarm didn't work. I think, I soleved this by removing rilbubble.exe from the startup folder. The alarm seems to relate with the homezone sign (small house). By leaving the homezone or killing rilbubble.exe the alarm is now working like it should. PS: I'm from Germany and my provider is O2. PPS: Do we need this file or could we just remove it in the next release?
Guest dark_spice Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 YAY! Thanks PaSSoA, I just finished updating my ROM to the new one and I learned that I wasn't even able to flash correctly the first time (M2DC01) as I didn't see the COMPLETE message back then and my PHONE version wasn't updated unlike now. Haha.. Will post my feedback on this GREAT ROM soon! THANKS again!
Guest dark_spice Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 just flashed  thanks PaSSoa. Another great news, i spoke with Matt from www.mobilematt.net. Please visit the site. I got his permissions to modify his incredible themes for HTC to fit our Omnias. All credit will goes to him of course and you can all contribute with me trying the new themes most probably he will make a corner themes for Omnia!! Thanks Matt THANKS for your effort on modifying these themes, sector! Lots of cool ones. At least now I don't have to download and modify themes. Just download and enjoy! Lol! Can't wait for your consolidated M2D Themes Topic. Keep it up! :D
Guest PaSSoA Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 I second that  The first theme was awesome. I actually like the new theme, oh well, to each his own right ;) Attached below is the original theme, should not need any modifications, except maybe in the weather widget as I'm using new weather icons in the ROM. I overslept today, because the alarm didn't work. I think, I soleved this by removing rilbubble.exe from the startup folder. The alarm seems to relate with the homezone sign (small house). Anyone else having this problem?Manila2D_original.rar
Guest Slive Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Alarm worked fine for me this morning, did you hardreset after flashing? Anyone else having this problem? Yes I did. I looks like there are some german customers who have also trouble with their omnia and homezone. It's a german problem I think.
Guest us1111 Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 I think it is a great idea because VJBrisk allows to change only 1 target in the same directory. Eg. in \Windows there is also the calendar.exe and the dialpad, alarm, phonebook etc. It can read only from VJTarge.lnk which is only 1 link to 1 program. I hope u understood what i mean  , at least us1111 Gonna work on it..
Guest X-t-r-e-m-e Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 (edited) For some reason my Comm Manager is distorted if I press one of the options. The blue bar isn't correctly layed above the background, looks odd. Anyone experienced this to? Version 2 by the way.+ Oh forgot to ask ... can I just install any Manilla 2D skin or do they need to be resized to WQVGA? Edited October 28, 2008 by X-t-r-e-m-e
Guest PaSSoA Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 That's inherent to the the comm manager, graphics breaks a little but everything works. You need to use resized themes, you can find the themes at my second post in this thread.
Guest Wraith_17 Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 noob question - will this work on a uk omnia, e.g. after flash will all the network settings and stuff still auto detect? Also my omnia is a vodafone one, does that make a difference? cheers
Guest ronzo77 Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 hi people i have a really noob question about flash lite 3.1, i was wondering if it can be installed seperately through a cab file, or can it only be installed as part of a firmware flash? also, will flash lite 3.1 enable me to stream music from myspace or any site that uses flash 9?
Guest Barthlon Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 i installed it last night and everything seems to run smooth, except for the fact that my first boot after the upgrade took a very long time and even some more reboots. but now everything works  i was wondering why everybody seems to dislike the default taskmanager on the omnia. for me it worked fine and now i'm even missing the fact that it pops up with one stroke of the finger (or is not everyone aware of this "shortcut"?). but you can't have it all :D has anyone every tried to "downgrade"? i'm thinking of "going back to" the latest dutch ROM HJ3...
