is there any changelog available ?

i am with j6lite for half a day now, let us know, just not to waste much time on installing new stuff on the j6lite.. :lol:

How do you perform the final testing. Do you have to flash the ROM, than test it, fix it, reflash it etc? Or is there a more convenient way to do this?

Yes, it's a very tedious process. I too wish for a easier way.

After first boot SDAutoRun worked perfect. Now I have to modify it from Tytn settings to OMNIA ones. Thanks for ROM . My findings will be available later today or tomorrow.

its my first wm device, have it for a month now.... for the last month I am reading many forums in parallel to try and get more familiar with the wm concept and customization.

last night i did my first hard reset and upgrade from the factory rom to grandprix and then to your lite j6 rom...

well I am not familiar with the UC.... will try and read some stuff to see whatis all about.. tks.

i guys, this is my first post, i'm an italian guy, i was asking myself if somebody here knows the application called "backup"?

it runs just in windows mobile and it permits you to create a full backup (or what you want) included registry and DB setting, so after installing a new rom you can simply restore the backup in the new one and you are done.to use bakup is enough to copy it in your dvice and copy a simply dll in windows folder and there you go.

If your using M2D02, then it is already included in that ROM :lol: I think someone posted the CAB in the M2D02 ROM thread too.

Not too sure about that, but if you are able to find it, I'm sure there will be many grateful people.

Btw, I posted a workaround for the coloured lines problem when viewing some Youtube videos, you can read more here. Do let me know if it works or not as I only tried out a few videos.

If you're not refering to the zoom in Opera then yes.

It's the program that's also tied to the long volume up key. So you can zoom in on any page. I'll try to provide the CAB soon.

Oh for the next Lite version with HJ9, make it EXTRA LIGHT maybe can reach up to 120MB by

1. Remove the working Opera Mobile and put it in a CAB.

-so that it can be installed in My Storage instead

-due to Opera Mobile cache (a lot since Youtube enabled flv files stored) will be in a device's storage not my storage. Registry hack in opera.ini need to be done, hassle for dummies.

-also due to Opera creates images file for each URL in device and add up in device as well

-plus opera6 (bookmarks) will also increasing in size when new bookmarks is added.

-this also will make removal of opera mobile easier if the new version supporting flash 9 available, or skyfire or firefox mobile etc.

2. Remove ASP (Redundant Streaming player) and point all streaming media to be played using windows media player (it can handles very well)

3. Remove Touch Player (windows media player can handle more formats in fact only window media player works with microsoft voice command and not other player)

4. Remove Calculator (let them install the scientific one themselves)

5. Remove SimTkUI? ( i dunno what is this for)

6. And put TaskSwitcher, Video Editor, Podcast, Smart Reader, Rss Reader, fixed Smart COnverter and other language supports files in a cab

7. Maybe can include registry hack for SECdialler, AutoPotrait when incoming call, ObexInBox, all other fixes including Contact's "new" button faulty.

8. If there is a workable Skin/ UC/ themes please put it in a cab as well.
