Removing Camera Delay

How do i remove the Camera delay when i hit the capture button? Right now its like a 2second delay, so everything i take a pic of must stay still, otherwise it blurs. Is there a way to make it instant? As soon as i hit capture the phone immediatly takes a pic?

I have cingular 2125 or htc tornado i think it is

u can use the program coolcamera. it doesnt really have any delay.

Well, CoolCamera still has SOME delay, it's by no means gone all together...trust me...

I have a two year old, and it's darn near impossible to get a good pic of her as 1) she wont stop moving and 2) the shutter speed just is not fast enough...

The delay is certainly shorter, and the pictures better, with coolcamera though...

Just wish they'd fix the darn corrupt video issue... ;(
