Guest Palindrome Posted April 27, 2004 Report Posted April 27, 2004 I've had no problems installing and playing DivX clips on my E200. I'll have a play around with it a bit more but it certainly looks promising.
Guest Simon Desser Posted April 27, 2004 Report Posted April 27, 2004 Wayhey :D not tested it much, but initial reaction is it's bloody good ;) :P
Guest Jasonkruys Posted April 27, 2004 Report Posted April 27, 2004 any more info? seems a bit scarce on that site. Is this something to use instead of pocket mvp for example?
Guest xavierjohn22 Posted April 27, 2004 Report Posted April 27, 2004 It's capable of playing avi in full screen mode too, lots of options really, rotate, zoom and more. It can play mp3s as well, ogg too, lots of development still on the way. Try their sample video conversion, neat!
Guest Dr_StrangeTrick Posted April 28, 2004 Report Posted April 28, 2004 I have loaded this and I have to say it plays better than PocketMVP and has better options. Only one thing missing though and that is the backlight control :D

Here's some screenies :D I have to say this app rocks 8) If this is a Beta version, it's going to be a good day for MS Smartphones when the finished product is released ;) Notice the slider, it works beautifully, very smooth, no lag, no crashes - Excellent :!:

Guest steverae Posted April 29, 2004 Report Posted April 29, 2004 Looks like our dreams have came true... What version of Divx does it support ? Doesn't matter, i've just read the site, it supports XVID..... Whay Hey, better than divx (i think). can';t wait to get home and try this.....
Guest rafiq_p Posted April 29, 2004 Report Posted April 29, 2004 latest xvid works with this software
Guest maxh2003 Posted April 29, 2004 Report Posted April 29, 2004 Got to say, this is a storming piece of work, it plays my old DivX files beautifully and seems to handle OGGs at least as well as PocketMusic. plus, it's Open Source (hooray!) so anyone can go see how they did it and learn from their work. Looks like PocketMVP is dead-in-the-water now, though it served very well for over a year. Has anyone found a playlist function yet? I couldn't find one and it's an obvious feature to add to a music player. Surely we could bodge one together but that doesn't seem the point with such a well-written, well-organised project...? Thank goodness for Open Source PocketPC projects...
Guest xavierjohn22 Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 Didnt find a playlist functiön töö. pöstéd the backlight thing töö whén playing, nö optiön for kéép ön. Guest nickcornaglia Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 Off Topic: Xavier...what's up with the accents? Do you have a different language on your phone or is that just your style?
Guest xavierjohn22 Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 It's my Qték Röm, My phöné Cånt hélp it. hé hé. Pöstéd fröm my SmärtPhöné!
Guest serialkillazzs Posted April 30, 2004 Report Posted April 30, 2004 tried this out on the e200 with beta 2 release and works like a charm for avis. Brightness, and contrast mode mapped like pocketMVP would be handy, as well as playlist controls and previous and next track mapping options via keypad for mp3 would be great. played The Rasmus video at 150% speed, funny as hell, alvin, simon and theodor,do do da do do were the chipmunks alvin simon and theodor hehe anyone remember. Top notch program
