I´ll inform you about the MP10, but it seems its not there, yet... maybe they pushed this release because of all the delay...and the MP10 release is comming later on? Guest spvdk Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 Very interesting. Especially since Qtek also released an update today. Looking forward to hearing about your experiences. Any direct download link, btw?

Guest dc_demand Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 I really, really hope it finally includes WMP10. Or, when it doesn't, that it will be released before the end of the month. I've been waiting for wmp10 for soo long already, it starts to get enoying! Also, wierd that they only updated the rom for the 'English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Turkish' version. I would prefer to get the dutch rom, but when it doesn't include the latest fixes and updates, I'd rather stick with english.. Ro

Guest nadrian2k Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 why do u guys want WMP10 so mutch? .... not a retoric question......i am curious :D
Guest dc_demand Posted January 18, 2005 Report Posted January 18, 2005 why do u guys want WMP10 so mutch? .... not a retoric question......i am curious :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Windows Media Player 10 includes support for WMP Sync. Making it possible to connect your phone and automatically have new music and recorded tv transferred from your Media Center 2005 PC (or normal pc with wmp10) to your phone. WMP10 uses a categorised library: you can browse by title, artist, album,(wmp9 just puts all music in one large playlist). WMP10 also lets you create playlists, and you can que up new songs to the 'now playing list. So, that's quite a lot of sweet features! Roderick
Guest pharma79 Posted January 19, 2005 Report Posted January 19, 2005 My sp3 is in service center .i envy you to be able to see it first . :x Anyway its too bad WM10 is missing . Also has bluetooth file transfer been improved or not? Prema can you test to see if "tss" sound is still present or not? cheers
Guest Raven001 Posted January 19, 2005 Report Posted January 19, 2005 This brand-specific updating is nonsensical. Can't Audiovox/HTC/iMate/etc. work together and publish concurrent updates? yes, I'm bitter because I own an Audiovox (so none of these cool updates apply). At least I've got WMP10 though.. :\
Guest Prema Posted January 19, 2005 Report Posted January 19, 2005 (edited) Prema can you test to see if "tss" sound is still present or not? cheers <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I never had this Tss sound, could you send me a file that is producing this Tss thing...? Does Anybody have the program to check the multipress abilities...? Best wishes Prema :D Edited January 19, 2005 by Prema
Guest hthongvn Posted January 22, 2005 Report Posted January 22, 2005 HI PREMA! Can update ROM 1.5.33.11 for SMT6500 ? I need forit.
Guest shodanjr_gr Posted January 22, 2005 Report Posted January 22, 2005 It would be interesting to know wether the Tss Tss bug still exists in this firmware version. If one of the carriers comes up with a fix then we can be sure its not a hardware fault...
Guest pharma79 Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 I never had this Tss sound, could you send me a file that is producing this Tss thing...? Does Anybody have the program to check the multipress abilities...? Best wishes Prema :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> there is already a loong topic on this  . its present itself on any file-even the default wmv file( you need to hear through headphones because the loudspeaker is too bad to show it) About multipress i think it can be tested in games i.e by moving the rocker and firing at the same time ?
Guest DSF Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 (edited) Prema try Explode Arena for testing the multipress capability If you can move while you place the bomb OR if you can place the bomb while you move your character THEN the multipress work I wait a response from you Edited January 23, 2005 by DSF

For instance it does not appear on silent files (media files with no sound on them...).
Guest Prema Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 (edited) Prema try Explode Arena for testing the multipress capability If you can move while you place the bomb OR if you can place the bomb while you move your character THEN the multipress work I wait a response from you <{POST_SNAPBACK}> OK i tested the multipress capability with this Bomberman clone and these are the results: Multipress is enabled for : * (T9 button) F1 (the "Start"-button on the left side under the screen) F2 (the "Contacts"-button on the right side under the screen) ALL other buttons have no multipress. The character just stops moving for about a second... But thats enough for most of the games... I´ll try to get some Tzz sounds with WMP later on Best wishes :D Prema Edited January 23, 2005 by Prema
Guest DSF Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 (edited) Hey Prema, thanks for reply What i can say? I tested a spv c500 with 1.12.2004 ROM update (romanian - that was the SW the phone included when it was bought) and I can say that you can also use the '*' and a nav-key simultaneous (tested game: Wolfestein3D)... and in SmartNES i can use the shoot key (key '2' i remember, or key '1') with a nav-key simultaneous BUT not also in Explode Arena (i didn't changed the keys, tested only with default keys). I was thinking that i-mate released a version that fix the multipress problem totally, but as stated many persons, i think it's a hardware issue (so it cannot be fixed by software). But that's OK, the real problem is the DUST thing (coming so easy under the glass display..) but that's another story... Oh, maybe you want to give a try to SmartNes You can get roms (games) for SmartNes from http://www.freeroms.com/ :D Edited January 23, 2005 by DSF

I was able to use F1,F2,* simultanneously with each other and with the nav-key. All others have no multipress. And yes it´s making "Tzz" sometimes, when palying the WMP Intro file. But i didn´t notice it with any of my songs, yet. It seems to like my music style. :D Best wishes Prema :P Edited January 24, 2005 by Prema
Guest DSF Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 Prema yeah you are right, sorry for confusing ... I've just tested Wolfestein3D and SmartNES Keys I could press while using the joy-pad: * F1 (left softkey) F2 (right softkey)
