Guest StixxUK Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 Hi there, I got my Orange SPV C500 about a month ago and I'm loving it. One thing has been annoying me, however - there's an icon in the black bar at the top of the screen which I can't identify. I've looked in the manual and the closest thing to it is the "new answerphone message" icon. The only difference is that this one doesn't have one of the circles filled in. I've checked my answerphone messages and deleted them all and I can't for the life of me guess what this icon means. Any ideas? Thanks in advance 8)
Guest Griff_FFOC Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 (edited) Sounds like the Answer phone icon to me, as that doesn't have one of the circles filled in either. Try calling your answer phone and getitng the recorded message to say you have no messages, wait a short while and then hang up, then see if the icon is cleared. If not, try switching the phone off and back and that might get shot of it. Edited February 3, 2005 by Griff_FFOC
Guest Disco Stu Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 What may be confusing you is that the icon is slightly tricky to clear. After you have deleted the message do not end the call immediately. Instead wait till the icon goes before pressing the red key. It's a bug of sorts
Guest StixxUK Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 Ah, OK. I just thought it was a little odd because the icon you can see in the pic has one circle filled in and mine doesn't...
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 5, 2005 Report Posted February 5, 2005 The circle signifys line 1 or 2 depending which is filled in. If you only have one number the cicles will be blank when the voicemail icon is displayed.
