Signed up on T-Mobile Relax 100 on a 12 month Contract for 23pm with 3 months @ half-price.

So the actual cost of the machine is £241.50 plus you get 3 months insurance (just remember to cancel it after 3 months if you don’t want it!)

Plus as I understand you can unlock it for £15.

So £256.50 for an unlocked JAM if my numbers are correct. Pretty Good ! I am sure the prices will go up soon once the XDA mini and Orange are out.

The Relax 100 on 18 months seems even better value.... £252 total = £14 per month

Just wondering though, why do you reckon prices will go UP after more competition enters the market ??

no not really - but I remember seeing a similar pattern with the P800 and P900 when they first hit the market for the first few weeks. Anyway if you compare what you are getting then the price should be on par with the P900 ..

Did you have a look on the data tariffs?

For just £2.00 each month you will get a 0.5MB monthly allowance

The cost per MB outside the bundle is £7.50

This must be the catch!

I think i'll probably just be keeping my orange contract on at the same time, just use my tmob sim in the even for my evening minutes, and try and get the Orange Student deal (1000 free texts a month!) from retentions... :lol:

Yes. T-Mobile data isn't cheap. I'm on a 10meg for £15 bundle to make sure I NEVER get charged the £7.50 a meg...

I just got mine from ukphoneshop on the 12 month relax 100 tarrif. I got them to put me on "t-zones 3" gprs bundle (£10 for 6mb) - extortionate but cheaper than £7.50/mb!

- nb: out of bundle charges £1.50/mb
