Inbox Has Gone!

ryte .. i downloaded the sms secure thing off airfagev so that it puts a password to open the messages on the start menu !! decided it was pants and uninstalled it from settings--> remove programs !! 10 mins later i get a message ... go to open it and it says ...

"ERROR

Can't find Inbox or one of its components. make sure the path and filename are correct and that all the required libraries are available"

also the symbol(in the start menu) for Messages is not an envelope any more its a white box with a blue bar at the top.. sort of looks like a cartoon internet explorer window!

what can i do to get my inbox back :cry:

Kindly try this:

Default.Inbox.CAB

The cab will restore default Inbox icon and launch tmail.exe from the root Windows folder. :o

First off ... sorry i posted the topic without looking into it , after posting this i found a similar thread and the only thing they could come up with was to do a hard reset ... so i did!! :|

but in a way im glad i did cos its freed up a bit of space but now the facade plugin is displayin realy small :?: have to look into it now must have downloaded the wrong version ?

I know that you have sorted this problem, but there is a way you can do itwithout having to hard reset your phone. I used the explorere on my phone so i could get decent screen shots but using your pc is fine.

Baisically all you need to do is find the .exe file called tmail.

For this you rely could do with using a pc, once you have this, creat a shortcut by right clicking on the icon and create shortcut.

Now cut the shortcut and then go to "storage\windows\startmenu" and paste the shortcut in there.

Then turn your phone off and back on again and hey presto it should work.

Hope this helps those who have future problems with there inbox.
