Guest awarner [MVP] Posted October 27, 2005 Report Posted October 27, 2005 Camera Save Folder Brief Intro: By default, the camera program saves photos to ‘My Photos’ folder. Unfortunately, there is no option on the Camera program user interface to specify which folder you want your photos saved unto. You can however tweak your Smartphone registry then assign a separate ’save folder’ for your photos under My Documents of either the Internal Memory or the Storage Card. Tested on: C500 and C550 Requirements: 1. Registry editor. PHM Registry Editor or RESCO can handle this. 2. Application-unlocked Smartphone Instructions: 1. Open HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\p1\SaveFolder. Shown below is SaveFolder string value changed to ‘GPC’ 2. Change ‘My Photos’ to your desired name. Note that this will be the FOLDER name where your photos will be dumped. If under Camera > Menu > Options > General you chose ‘Storage Card’, then a folder under \Storage Card\My Documents will be created. You can also do this with the Videos: HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\p2\ then SaveFolder
