Guest Phil Lee
That registry key is present on my MDA Vario. I wonder if this works for Pocket PC based phones as well.

Guest nickcornaglia
Was just playing in the registry.....My first found tweak! :)
Guest Jerry Raia
It works on the 2125 however the SIM card doesn't support multiple lines. At least no one I talked to at Cingular knew how to set up a SIM card for that. The tweak also disappears after a reboot. The 8125 takes the tweak but doesn't show line numbers and holding down the # key does nothing I can see.

Guest roma0803
Erh... don't want to spoil anything here. But isn't this automaticaly activated when the phone sees a multi-line SIM card? With a single line SIM it just shows a '1'
Guest nickcornaglia
Some SIM cards allow for two phone numbers to be used on one card. This allows you to, lets say, have a personal number and a work number. It's the same thing as having two SIM cards that you switch out on the same phone. But in this case...both numbers are on the same sim. In turn, you can only use one number at a time. I dont belive any US carriers offer this. Guest SkUk21
guys i have just tried this on the spv m3100 - it does not work. i have two lines on the sim? please advise
Guest Pondrew
SkUk21. It has been reported that the SPV M3100 is heavily application locked. Are you sure the registry editor was able to persist the change to the registry? Did it definately change the value as if it was application locked it would almost certainly prevent the registry change?
Guest SkUk21
hi pondrew, i have changed the registry and soft reset. the change is still present. i installed the PHM registry software without any problems also. your help is much appriciated
Guest Pondrew
:) Sorry to hear it. But not surprised as HTC Pocket PC Phones haven't traditionally had Line 2 whereas their Smartphones often do...

Guest nickcornaglia
Hey! sorry for the delay in responding. I dont believe this feature works on PPCs for some reason, just Smartphones. To be sure, I would ask someone with a TYTN...but I doubt it. Good luck with the phone and welcome to the site. Plenty of info all over the place here. So feel free to look around (especially in the TYTN and PPC sections!) ;)
Guest Y@nn
Hi guys, already been interested with the question, and I have an answer...you can have 2 sim card in one, with a little gadget... www.simore.ch also it is said: - with the TyTN, the dual sim adaptor was no a problem, so it worked with ppc... - with the TyTN II, its said not full tested yet but why shouldnt work? does it help?
