It will take much less time when load the game again. Make sure the neogeo bios has been put into the roms directory before rescan for neogeo games. To use combo, put macros.dat to cfg directory. You can find macros.dat in finalburn alpha plus for pc. Cache maker is easy to use, it will create the cache when you finish loading a rom. Guest Zeiram Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 Hello Masterall Awesome work... finally i can play my two fave arcade games (AD&D TOD and SOM) on my Pocket PC Fullspeed and with Sound. I saw that the option for virtual pad is in, but it seems not to work? i see them popping up shortly and then the game starts. Is there a chance to get them to work? Maybe devide the touch screen in three or four rows for buttons A to C or D? I saw that on PocketCult Mame and its very Handy on Landscape mode. I would love to donate for your work, do you have a homepage / PayPal account? Best regards Zeiram
Guest Johnny Rico Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 Hello and thanks to Masterall for all his great emulators, these are so cool ! Just one thing, on the first version of FinalBurn, I couldn't move clearly the character on Final Fight with my SPV C 600, there was some delay when I kept pressing on a direction with the stick. The great problem with the SPV C600 too is that you can't move on the diagonals and THIS is terrible with a lot of arcade games... Are there some people here who could give me their tricks about that (In my opinion, the option to assign direction to the keypad buttons is cheap and the Bluetooth gamepad is too expensive) ?? Thanks in advance ! Ps: sorry for my English...
Guest puerrican718 Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 Have no results with T-mobile Dash. Can load the program fine but after choosing a game it just silently kills the app. Anyone else have luck with other qvga landscape smartphones?
Guest mikeeey Posted October 31, 2006 Report Posted October 31, 2006 19xx, one of the funnest games ever, quit working after completing the first level. il try playing it again to see if it does the same thing turns out it wasnt 19XX, it was just the program itself, i guess every now and then itl just exit out and go to my homescreen. has that happened with anyone else? o and i cant wait till i get my dance dance revolution rom lol.
Guest masterall Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 mikeeey: it is unable to rotate screen for 90 or 270 degrees now. Zeiram: the virtual screen pad is not function now, I will add it later. Thanks for your donates, but I don't have a palpay acount yet. Thank you very much! Johnny Rico: yes, your problem is exist for all devices support only 4-way direction keys puerrican718: landscape qvga is not supported yet, so it crashs

Guest Zeiram Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 Could someone explain what kind of ROM's this works with? Is this a pocket version of "mame"? Its not MAME, it works only for games that used the CPS1 or CPS2 Hardware on Arcade-Machines. Cant tell you which or where you fond them, but google is your friend... ;-)

Cant tell you which or where you fond them, but google is your friend... ;-) Thanks for the info Zeiram! I'm excited, because I realize Knights of the Round is one of the supported games - and I've been trying to play through it for a while now. I tried the SNES version on Morphgear, and it craps out at the last level. I can't wait to try this version - I'm glad Google's my friend, I'll have to hit him up after work.
Guest PolloLoco Posted November 4, 2006 Report Posted November 4, 2006 Wow, I'm amazed at the quality of some of these games. I'm happy that I'll finally get to beat Knights of the Round. However, of the 28 games I downloaded for CPS1 and CPS2 hardware - only 9 show up. A lot of the games on this thread that SHOULD run, don't even show up as acceptable roms. Though they're in the same folder as the roms that work. If anyone knows why - or what I can do, I'd be very grateful.
Guest PolloLoco Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 OK - I figured out my problem! The version of the file I downloaded - more often than not - was slightly different than the number supported by this program. If I was careful to match the number when downloading, the ROM's worked! I'm shocked that I'm able to get full speed on my pocket PC! I've got a verizon VZ 6700 overclocked at 624 mhz, and the performance on these roms is greatly exceeding my expectations. I'm hoping masterall can continue to tweak this software - but right now, I already think he's a genius. His Picodrive is the best Genesis emulator I've seen. I've got some issues with his SNES emulator - but it's still quality. And this - could be the best piece of software that I've put on my PPC. Thanks Masterall! Let me know when you get a paypal account - I'd like to make a small contribution in gratitude to your work. The hours of nostalgia and fun this has given me - have helped me out of a stressful situation. Thanks!
Guest masterall Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 The next version will support neogeo games, kof96 works fine without sound.
Guest Johnny Rico Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Wow... What can I say ? You're so great !
Guest dijital Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 i was just about to mention neogeo  ever thought of combining all your emu's in to one program (morphgear style)?

Thanks! holy sh*t!!! 624 mhz???? of corse it'l exceede your expections thats like WOW. my smartphone plays perfect at 264mhz overclocked (highest it goes too). i bet u can play morphgear gameboy advanced can't u? i want ur phone. wats it called. Has anyone been playing and it suddenly just quits to the homescreen? most of the time its when im clicking the A button a lot but i think its a quindence, especially since thats like the main key everyone else uses. when will save games work? and the bug i mentioned above be fixed?

I have a Verizon XV 6700. It's actually a rebranded HTC Apache. Stock it arrives clocked at 416 mhz, but it's actually underclocked - since the Samsung processor was designed to run at 520. Most of us who have this phone can actually clock it up to 624 - where I have it running 100% of the time. Actually, I heard the early Sprint versions could hit 728 mhz - but since then they switched to lower quality processors. Unless you have a need to upgrade right away - I'd recommend waiting for the 6800 which is due to arrive early next year. Possibly January. It's supposed to be a big step up - which surprises me, since I love the 6700 as is. By the way - is Game Boy Advanced more difficult to emulate than SNES and Genesis? I was sure that those two systems were more high-powered. Edited November 6, 2006 by PolloLoco
