Playing with Wishpot on Pocket PC

Just lately i've discovered a rather nifty service called Wishpot, over at http://www.Wishpot.com. The easiest way to describe it is like an Amazon wish list, but for everywhere.

It has a whole bunch of features that are particularly neat, such as an excellent browser button, the ability for your friends to reserve gifts without you seeing and much much more.

Anyway, this morning I was giving Clarius Consulting's new Orientation Aware control a spin, and was wondering what to develop with it. I know I thought, a Wishpot client for Portrait and Landscape PPCs, wishpoSt! :)

It turns out that the API for Wishpot isn't quite ready yet, so this is a stop gap - it helps you take a picture, enter a title and a description, then it deposits a mail in your outbox that gets fired off to Wishpot. It works... and is a great starting point for the future. It needs prettying up somewhat in the next build tho :P
