Good morning everyone,

I haven't showed up for a while but still keep updating the first post, especially the Mini-Howto's section. Please let me know if I missed some important Howto's. For new friends please read carefully through the first post before asking question. I believe you may find most answers there. B)

Looks like we now have quite stable ROM that few questions related to ROM's bugs. I didn't answer several questions about some software (e.g., S2U2, etc.) because I never used them. Thanks to friends who answer these questions for us. Also, some other bugs not related to WM 6.5 and my customized ROM. However, I'll include some of them to Mini-Howto's section as well.

There is no new ROM build coming up, making me a little bored. :( Anyway, I have some plans for the next release:

1. I'll add Pako's latest camera driver (saving files to YYMMDD_HHMMSS format). Details here: http://www.modaco.com/content-page/284504/...driver/page/60/

2. Rearrange program folders for better Startmenu scroll.

3. Optimize tools for smaller ROM size.

Suggestions for better future ROM are welcome.

as i told on previous post.. maybe you can include tLogix CHome Panel Configurator wherein you can customize today's panel not only the arrangement but the shortcuts/pages you want to.. i find it more better than titatium customizer.. just a thought..

looks like all the themes u put in ur phone r not zip files, they have to be zip files. dont extract them.......... and also u might need PocketRAR for it.........otherwise it wont be recognized as zip files on ur phone. then do it the normal way ( add then apply)

Possible to fix the RDS in radio? i used to have it in WM6.1, seem like not working in WM6.5 :( :( :D

Rearrange program folder will be excellent idea, currently, the menu seem like a bit messy, i'm a bit dizzy when looking at the 'not arrange" icon in the start menu B) :( :(

We have new youtube player, will be good if can include it in.

Default the R2VS to how chokia/gianto enable it.

For those of you having probs with S2U2, you should use v1.42 as 1.61 is too buggy and unstable. Next best solution to slove the caller ID not showing when device is locked and turned off is to use Resco Contact Manager.

I think the most annoying bug is the Caller ID issue not showing. If you can look in to solving it we won't need a third party app and this ROM will be perfect.

1. I thought you said you have included minimod driver (pako777) in this ROM, no?

2. I think one can just arrange them by just click and hold, tap "move to top"

3. Delete Opera9 and Opera folder in Application Data, cause the real installation folders are in Windows

4. Dont forget the battery icon is still buggy, HTC Task manager somehow "overlaps" on it.

5. I think the unidentified caller id for 1st time call in is WM6.5 Beta bug, only Microsoft can fix this

since you said you are bored perhaps to fill that boredom you can make the option to upgrade your ROM from 3-in-1 to 4T-in-1 (Titanium-TouchFlo-TouchWiz-TodayScreen) by putting all the necessary files to add touchwiz on your ROM without cooking. The guide is available but all the necessary files are not in the rom, and the sign and unsign works are just for PRO like you, too tedious for noob. They may end up brick their phone. B)

1. What station no RDS? MyFM? have you tried tuning in using other device to ensure that it has RDS? Sometime these stations screw up too.

2. I think this is down to personal preference, the menu works by scrolling 14 icons on each flick, so you have to "Move to Top" 14 apps/link that you frequently use. The next 14 to 2nd less frequent and so on.

3. The reason why Khuanchai leaves the old Youtube player (youtubeplay.exe) are because:-

a. It plays flv files from porntube, pornotubes, xtube, etc that coreplayer and the new youtube.exe cant play 'em.

b. The new youtube.exe is acting like an application and not a player, you cant open flv files extracted from the above sites with it.

c. The new youtube.cab is so available, just install it, and change the the registry on Internet tab page of M2D.

4. Bluetooth headset settings and phone sound settings may not be similar. When i set the R2VS to make my MotoS9 sounds good, the same settings are too loud for my car audio system.

So perhaps it leaves to users to decide whether to activate it for the bluetooth headset or not. If they want, a simple registry change is available.

I had the same problem too.... but there is a trick!!

Go to Settings> Connections> Operator Settings, then select an other Operator like KPN.... wait for a while ( u might see the winlogo turning) After that, change back to T-Mobile......

I am having a most random problem :S

The alarm doesnt go off.... I thought that was meant to be fixed in this release? Anyone know off the top of their heads what number post it was here to download the file to get the alarm working again, or does anyone have a cab for tclock.exe ?? That would be better!!!

I tried installing G-alarm, and for some reason it worked when i tested it at 10:30 when i set an alarm at 10:28, but again the alarm didnt go off this morning, and i was almost late for work! Any known fixes?

Here here... caller Id bug was not present for me in 21159

also the text message app 'freezes' cannot cancel with X or end key (just makes a noise) but if u leave it will eventually (2 minutes or more) go back to 6.5 today screen

1. I have included the first minimod driver (enhanced picture settings) but not the final one. So you cannot save it as date-time file name.

2. I mean to move some program shortcuts to Tools folder and maybe add some new folders like "Multimedia", "Communications", etc.

3. Will check that.

4. Not sure we can make any change for this problem.

How to change the headset / earphones volume.

Click menu, normal then headset (the second one, Headphones) Here you can change:

tnx voor je reply. het is al opgelost. het ging om toutch website met icoontjes van samsung. Het probleem was de opera versie. Kreeg een tip voor een andere versie en het werk weer perfect. (mmm.samsung.nl/vodafone of zoiets)

BTW Khuanchai.. rom is pretty good! i do have a problem with smart converter witch doesnt run properly. Also i installed smartreader by cab and it also doenst run. Maybe my cab file is no good. Anyone got smartreader to use?

Hello.I dl your latest rom from march31 and im very happy with it.I just have one problem and i dont know if its me or something i have to do.I have a stereo bluetooth and when i have it on listening to music i cant hear someones calling.I just know that someone is calling because the volume level lowers.And then things go worse because the phone "tranfers" the calling sound to the headset automatically and i cant do anything.

Please help.Thanks

This can happen with any ROM i think. Soft reset will usually work. :(

I have no problem to adjust screen brightness. In fact, omnia is great that it by default adjusts the brightness automatically. Have you tried a manual adjustment? (Settings>System>Backlight, change to manual adjustment and drag the scale to your preference.)
