Possible explanation to Double Alarm problem

Everything worked fine. Then the story goes...

Observation:

I changed alarm time and used the phone for a while without restarting. Eventually it crashed in the evening >> battery out >> started it up. Later on went into alarm setting. It showed the time that I used a while ago (11:00). I changed it to when I needed (06:30, hour earlier than usual) and that day I got 2 alarms (6:30 & 7:30).. (and if I remember correctly 3rd one came at the time it was reset to after crash, 11:00)

Assumption:

If it crashes / not properly shut down, it cripples the database and some of the settings go bonkers.. Apart from that I noticed on random crashing occasions that the very last contact/calendar entry is not being saved..

Solution (ermmm, possibly):

When an alarm problem occurs the following seems to work for me. Change alarm back to old time, hit Done [save], Done[exit settings] . Back into settings & set the time required, save as before. Sould be ok now. If not, try turning alarm on/off for old time and powering on/off between the changes.
