  2. No customs risk. It'll ship from the UK if they happen to be holding stock else China to UK warehouse then on, no customs risk.
  3. Delivery will probably be a little longer in my experience but that aside, no, no real catch.
  4. 6. For Android users (or maybe it's just me), there's little that compares to the joy of getting a system update. By the same token, there's little that is as frustrating as the dreaded 'staged rollout', aka everyone else getting updates before you. If you are a OnePlus owner, Oxygen Updater is here to ease your pain! Free from the Google Play Store with a 89p ad removal option, Oxygen Updater works with all OnePlus devices since the OnePlus 2 and checks online for new updates. When they appear, the application notifies you, provides a direct link to download and includes instructions on how to use the built in OnePlus updater to manually apply the update. I've recently started using a OnePlus 6 and it's great - updates are coming thick and fast right now and I can get them straight away. With over 100,000 downloads, Oxygen Updater is clearly filling a need, now if only we could get the same for other manufacturers *cough* Huawei *cough*... Head to the Play Store to download or the Oxygen Updater site for more details. View full item

  15. Are you having trouble logging into Samsung services on your non-Samsung device? You're not the only one. If you want to log into SmartThings for example (which we covered in this post), you may be presented with a screen telling you that your web browser is unsupported and you need to install the Samsung browser. Which is fine, except that doesn't work either. Thankfully, we have a fix for you! What you need to do is install the Samsung Account APK, pulled from a Samsung device, then instead of seeing this... You'll see this... You can then successfully log in! Keep this bookmarked for when you next change your device. View full item

  17. Hmm, it worked last time I tried it @jonep. I'll check over the weekend!
  18. Now and again after updating a device, I get the weird issue where some of the navigation buttons are missing, the notification shade won't pull down and various other bits of the phone are broken. It's really annoying and kinda hard to fix. What's happening behind the scenes is that the phone has become 'unprovisioned', which normally needs a hard reset to resolve. That's drastic, so I've created an app that will help. 'Reprovision', free on the Google Play Store, resolves the issue by giving you the ability to re-run your devices setup wizard. One of the weird things about the problem is that when it occurs, apps don't like to install properly from the Play Store, so it's worth keeping Reprovision installed should the problem afflict you in the future. It's free, and hopefully this will save someone a hard reset! View full item
