    D9 0.71

D9 is an open-source, freeware advanced dialler for Windows Mobile Phone Edition devices, such as the i-mate JAM. The main advantage of D9 over the built-in dialler is that it's faster, more responsive and easier to get to the contact you're after. What's more, the buttons throughout the application are nice and big, ideal for thumbs!
    Feature list:
Predictive text entry: D9 works out who you're after, meaning it only takes a few keypresses to get in touch. It uses your Outlook contacts for its database, so there's no need to enter any names or numbers - it's all automatic.
Speed: Once it's gathered information on your contacts (a few seconds on the first load), D9 is nice and fast - there's no delay in finding the name you're after.
Vibration support: D9 offers vibration feedback so you can tell more easily whether or not you actually hit that button.
Regular number dialling: Of course, you can dial a regular phone number rather than enter a name, should you wish. Simply enter the number as normal and tap the Dial button.
Support for multiple number types: It's easy to choose between dialling different numbers. D9 supports home, mobile, work, home 2 and work 2 numbers.
Text message support: Sending a contact a text message is easy with D9. Simply find the person you want and then hit the text button when you've chosen the appropriate phone number.
Skinnable: Don't like the interface? Then change it! Every image can be replaced with your own creation.

Please visit the D9 homepage for further information, support and the source code download.

Pocket PC Media Control v1.0 Build 42

Pocket Media Control is a free application that allows a Pocket PC with a network connection to remotely control Windows Media content on a Windows desktop.
The idea is that if you are wandering around wirelessly and want to control your media collection you can do that using the power of Pocket PC. This is especially fun if you have a distributed audio system and have speakers connected throughout your house driven by media content playing from a PC.
The application is designed to look just like version 8.5 of the Pocket PC Windows Media Player itself so it is very easy and intuitive to use.
You can use the full power of the Windows Media Library and select your music by:
    - Playlist.
    - Genre.
    - Album.
    - Artist.
    - Individual song.
Once music is playing you can:
    - Raise and lower the volume.
    - Mute the music.
    - Stop.
    - Pause / Resume.
    - Previous Track.
    - Next Track.
    - Shuffle Music.
The application also retrieves Album Art covers from where they are cached on your server and they are displayed on the main playback screen.
Please go to the author's homepage for more infos.
    Update Description:

    VitesseLimite v4.0

VitesseLimite is a freeware designed to warn the driver of a vehicle when the speed is over a pre-defined limits. With this software you can therefore avoid over speeding and at the same time keep your wallet fat and healthy !
The main screen displays the 'active' speed limit and the instant speed of the vehicule, along with other secondary informations such as time and altitude. The speed limit selection is made via a screen with large icons, allowing a fast and easy selection while driving. Every country having its own speed limits, you can easily define other triggers. The software handles speeds in kilometers per hours as well as miles per hour.
When overtaking, the warning is vocal and visual, with the possibility to to turn off the vocal part (my advice !).
Options will allow you to switch in "night" display, take in account speed limits under rain, turn off the sound, ...
For safety reason, a vocal and visual warning will be initiated when the GPS is not sending any information to the application, i.e. in a tunnel, or when the GPS battery runs out.
    Note:
For systems not running under WM2003, you must install Microsoft ".NET Compact Framework 1.0".
    WARNING:
THIS SOFTWARE IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR THE DRIVING INSTRUMENTS - ITS USE IS UNDER THE DRIVER'S FULL RESPONSABILITY. THE DEVELOPPER CAN NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE IN CASE OF ACCIDENT.
