does anyone know the number to ring to get a puk code on 02 because im having real trouble getting it and the facility to get one online is down

If you are on contract, the telephone number for your service provider should be on your bill.

goto the o2 website, search in the help option and there is an option for puk codes, enter your mobile number and voila it will give u your puk code :)
