Can voice record app also record phone conversations?

Is there any software available or any known hacks to take advantage of the voice record feature on the smartphone to also record telephone conversations?

was originaly to have been included on spv. the original manual talks about it but orange removed the feature as recording conversations is covered by legislation and it didnt want the hassle. eg you have to tell anyone you record that the call is recorded and it didnt want anyone recording the stuff orange cs say and playing it back to them at a laterdate!

it does work just about. i found it successful if you begin recording after you start the call, but you need to have speakerphone on! :?
