Voicemail icon - no longer works - Help

Hi, my mpx for some unknown reason no longer displays the voicemail icon when i get a new message. I think some software I installed has changed a setting etc... I have already tried the following and tested various scenarios however i was hoping if anyone has a fix.. ie. reg setting etc.

1) Called Orange Care - Who have reset my voicemail. I have tested this by putting my SIM in another orange mobile and the icon appears OK. When I insert the SIM back into my MPX the icon appears for this message however once I have retrieved and deleted the message I can no longer get it to re-appear. Hence voicemail is setup, sim seems ok and the MPX can retrieve a message however it doesn't seem to be able to check for a message.

2) Uninstalled all non native software installed since the problem first occured.

If there is no fix, will a hard reset return it to the state that Orange delivered it to me out of the box?

I have the same problem in reverse. My voicemail icon won't go away. Have you received any updates as to how to solve this?

Voice mail problems are normally down to network problems and not the phone,

As for the initial problem on this topic, I do not remember heaing of this

problem before with the icon not appearing :?

If it if a registry problem then to fix this may require a Hard Reset will

return the phone to it's out of the box settings minus the preinstalled apps

which are on the CD if you really want to reinstall them for some reason :) (remember jmms software is the only app that must be

installed on the phone and not the storage card)
