where is the offical orange SPV E100 backup tool!!??!!

hi, i wish to update my SPV e100 and i keep checking the orange site looking for their backup tool...

is there one or am i looking on the wrong page?

please help!!! what is orange doing!!!

I'm a newbie too but maybe this will give you something to try:

I was on the orange site this pm to carry out the update and having little to lose if I didnt back up I was going to do it without a backup. I clicked "next" through a series of screens and came to one which appeared to offer to make a back up, I didn't progress beyond this point because although the phone was in the cradle the power wasn't connected to it, I'd left it at home so I plan to progress with or without backup tomorrow.

hi, cheers for that but i think the message you saw was just to ask which folder you wanted to install the software to, not actually a backup as when you start the install, it still askd you to do it via orange-backup or manually save your files..

it would be interesting to c what happens when you do it....
